I didn't see a lot of beetles but I also didn't see very many clean, unspotted leaves. In a way it was "educational" to go to the rose garden after the peak and see what still looked good. Thanks for the compliment on the photos.Sharon@SproutsandWildlingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16622277229615660467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7443869983891888345.post-73293728438785821332012-07-17T19:42:40.509-04:002012-07-17T19:42:40.509-04:00Lovely petals!Lovely petals!Pathttp://bailey-road.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7443869983891888345.post-70996710861356057022012-07-17T19:42:31.089-04:002012-07-17T19:42:31.089-04:00Hi Holley,

I guess a fairy that small wouldn't break the surface tension, and could carry the droplet like a ball ... unless he slipped inside it - then he'd be trapped!Sharon@SproutsandWildlingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16622277229615660467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7443869983891888345.post-39627641877733648892012-07-17T13:03:57.812-04:002012-07-17T13:03:57.812-04:00Beautiful pictures of the roses. July here is not a good month for roses..late May and all of June is when are our roses are in the best of shape. Now the beetles are taking over and they leave no rose looking pretty! I could not pick between the two either. Both are beautiful photo's. Enjoy the time..Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16607497076371172591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7443869983891888345.post-64955015211387698472012-07-16T20:38:00.938-04:002012-07-16T20:38:00.938-04:00Great macros! I almost expect a tiny little fairy to come out of the middle of the bloom to catch the raindrop. I also looked at your Bloom Day post. Your butterfly garden is amazing!HolleyGardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14892421871044249940noreply@blogger.com
